The origin of a cigar’s name can sometimes be an enigma, perhaps wrapped in history or obscurity, or even a private joke, but not so with the E.P. Carillo Inch Natural #62. It starts with identifying the creator as none other than the esteemed Ernesto Perez-Carillo, a man who every day honors his four generations of tobacco history but creating some of the world’s best handmade smokes. Next, of course, is Inch, easily explained once you realize that the broad ring gauge of each vitola in the line measures close to an inch, this is a solid 5″ x 62. Finally, the Natural Ecuadorian wrapper that completes the cigar adds a smooth, medium-strength character to the bold Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco within.
